WELCOME TO THE GREENHOUSE

We are so excited to welcome you to The Greenhouse! Being a bit of a unique setting for a wedding, we are sure you may have some questions! Read along below for some of the most frequently asked questions from guests, and if we missed one, be sure to send us an email: bittersweetgreenhouse@gmail.com

What should I wear?

The Greenhouse can be quite warm in the Summer, so we suggest wearing something cool and comfortable, but dressy enough for a wedding! Evening and the Autumn can get chilly, so bring a light jacket or wrap.

Our ceremony lawn is grass, and our parking lot is gravel, so tall stiletto heels are not suggested. We find block heels, wedges, or flat shoes are the most comfortable option for The Greenhouse

Are you the caterer as well?

All meals and desserts are provided by offsite caterers chosen by each couple! If you have any dietary concerns or requirements, please get in touch with the couple who has invited you to celebrate in their day, and they can work with their caterer to make sure there is an option to fit your needs!

What is the bathroom situation?

We completed a renovation in 2020 that includes indoor restrooms! We have two restroom spaces to accommodate all guests. These restrooms attach two our new wedding suites, so couples now have a dedicated space to get ready. These can also be used for parents who need a quiet place to change, nurse, or care for their child.

Speaking of children, we also have high chairs available! Please ask one of our staff members if you would like a high chair.

How do I get there?

The Greenhouse is located within Bittersweet Flower Market. On Highway 16, we are a large red barn halfway between Losey Blvd in La Crosse and the Valley View Mall. If you are heading North to Onalaska, we will be a left turn - there is a center turning lane. If you are heading South to La Crosse, we are a right turn - we suggest using your blinker starting back at the Viterbo Sports Complex as our property is just after a curve when coming from the North.

We do put a message out on our sign, so look for that if you are unsure!
